Meet the team

Bob’s a retired minister from Flitwick who is supporting our church as a Moderator during our period of Ministerial vacancy. He’s guiding the leadership through the process of recruiting a new Minister and helping with preaching and pastoral issues.

Jill handles the day to day running of the finances in the church.

Paul is a Deacon/Trustee of the church and is involved in leading the Music Ministry.

Katy manages the administration of our church, and also the use, maintenance and upkeep of the buildings.

Sheila joined the Deacons in March 2024, and so also serves as a Trustee.

Steve joined the Deacons in March 2024, and so also serves as a Trustee. He is the Church secretary and is involved in a number of other areas of church life, including updating this website.

Colin works in the community around the church as a chaplain and evangelist

Dave joined the leadership team as an Elder in April 2024. From December 2024 he has been granted a sabbatical from this role, which we hope he will be able to resume sometime in 2025.

Janet cleans and maintains the church buildings.

Jenni was appointed as a Deacon in February 2025 and so also acts as a Trustee. She is also part of our Safeguarding team.

Our previous Senior Minister, Pete Chilvers, stepped down from the role at the end of 2023. We are in the early stages of a process to appoint a new Senior Minister.
