At Hockliffe Street Baptist church, we want the whole church family to be involved in the everyday business and decisions of the church.
Whether it is the appointment of leaders, welcoming of new members or questions about direction, buildings or priorities, we hold regular Church members meeting throughout the year where these conversations take place.
Church members meetings are an important feature of the church family’s worship and life together and are guided by the processes laid out in our Constitution and Church Handbook. They are open for anyone to attend and take part in discussions, however for decisions that need to be taken only full members can vote. These meetings normally take place on Sunday lunchtimes after the morning service; for those in the church family who are unable to attend in person we provide a link to enable them to join us online. Notice of meetings and important information is sent round to church members in advance.
