Sharing Jesus should be important to every follower of Jesus. We take it seriously as a church too.
In Leighton Buzzard and the surround area we want to do this in a number of ways. As well as encouraging every Christian to pray for an take opportunities to share their faith with others we have several specific initiatives to help us to this.
Neighbourhood Chaplains
Neighbourhood chaplains is a community visiting initiative that connects, befriends and serves the local community. It reaches out to people where they live in their local communities through gentle neighbourly visiting.
Volunteers learn about listening skills, pastoral care, safe practice and biblical principles, and have had an enhanced DBS check for safeguarding purposes. For more information, contact Colin Johnson
hiStory
hiStory is the stories of regular people from the church who’ve had their lives changed by Jesus. It is a growing website and book – printed in 2023 – that aims to share Jesus with Leighton Buzzard and beyond by recording and sharing the story of every follower of Jesus in the church.
