Small children are very welcome on Sunday mornings at Hockliffe Street Baptist Church. We love the buzz and noise of voices of all ages in our services. Parents however, may prefer to have a separate quiet place for their children to play during the service.
Creche is a separate small-child friendly space available throughout Sunday mornings. Creche caters for children until they are aged 3 years and are potty trained. At present the creche area is not staffed – we invite an adult to stay and take responsibility for their children.
Starters is for slightly older pre-school children – for those aged about 3, when they are ready for a story and a craft up to the end of their Reception Year at school. Starters meets in room 10 in the church extension off the back hall. Children in starters can be taken straight to their group when leaving the service at about 11am and can then picked up when the service finishes.
